Lifelong learning increasingly dominates discussions of post-compulsory education and training policies. Although the idea of lifelong learning has been most frequently used in discussions of higher and adult education and vocational training, it further provides a framework for debating and analysing the front end of education as well as its post-school phases.
Lifelong Learning examines the issues in four sections:
Theoretical Perspectives; Curriculum; International Perspectives; and Widening Participation. Such a mix serves to enrich the readers' interdisciplinary perspectives on contemporary initiatives. These sections include studies on important topics such as:
